Inclusive therapy for children, teens, adults, couples, & families
An inclusive & safe space
Wissahickon Valley Counseling (WVC) was established in 2025 to offer a warm, inclusive, and accessible option for mental health care. Located in the Northwest section of Philadelphia and Montgomery County. WVC provides compassionate and strengths-based therapy rooted in evidence based practice.
We accept most insurance plans, including Philadelphia CBH Medicaid.
Co-Founders, Andi and Brie live in and love Germantown and are excited to join the growing community of therapy practices in this area.
“If you have come to help me you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.”
Wissahickon Valley Counseling strives to be a safe, inclusive, and affirming space—especially for those who have been marginalized or harmed by the mental health system. We are grounded in trauma-informed care, and we believe that truly being trauma-informed includes working to challenge and change the systems that cause harm.
We unapologetically support LGBTQIA+ rights, Trans rights, immigrant rights, disability rights, and harm reduction. We believe therapy can be a powerful tool for liberation—from internalized oppression and from the external systems that impact our lives. As therapists, we are committed not only to supporting our clients' healing, but also to doing our own work: examining how we are shaped by and connected to oppressive systems, and actively working toward collective freedom and justice.
