Comprehensive ADHD Evaluation & Support
Clear answers. A plan that fits your life.
Maybe you've always felt like you're working twice as hard to keep up. Maybe a teacher has raised concerns about your child's focus, or you're wondering whether the forgetfulness, restlessness, or procrastination you've lived with for years has a name.
An ADHD evaluation can help you understand what's really going on and what to do about it. At Wissahickon Valley Counseling, our evaluations are thorough, collaborative, and designed to give you more than a yes-or-no answer. You'll leave with a clear picture of your strengths and challenges, practical strategies you can start using right away, and recommendations for moving forward.
Our approach
A good evaluation looks at the whole person. Anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep problems, and learning differences can look like ADHD or show up alongside it. We take the time to understand your history, your daily life, and what's getting in your way, so your results reflect the full picture.
Our evaluations are led by a certified ADHD clinician who knows this journey both professionally and personally.
Who we evaluate
We offer ADHD evaluations for children ages 10+, Teens, and Adults. Common reasons people reach out:
Trouble focusing, finishing tasks, or staying organized
Chronic lateness, forgetfulness, or losing things
Restlessness, impulsivity, or difficulty sitting still
Struggles at school or work that don't match ability or effort
Emotional overwhelm, frustration, or low self-esteem tied to these patterns
A family member with ADHD, or a longstanding sense that "something is different"
Many adults, especially women, were never evaluated as children. It's never too late to get answers.
What's included
For a flat fee of $950, your evaluation includes:
Two full evaluation sessions covering a detailed clinical interview, validated rating scales and standardized assessments, and input from others who know you well when helpful
One feedback session where we review your results in plain language, talk through next steps, and start building practical executive functioning strategies for planning, time management, organization, and follow-through
A comprehensive clinical report you can use to:
Request accommodations at work or school
Share with a prescriber for medication management
Share with your therapist or other providers
Support a disability or standardized testing accommodation request (like the SAT, LSAT, or licensing exams)*
Understand yourself better
*Documentation requirements vary by testing agency and licensing board. We recommend reviewing their guidelines before you begin.
Cost and insurance
ADHD evaluations are self-pay at $950, covering everything listed above with no surprise fees. We don't bill insurance directly, but we can provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Coaching sessions are $200 per hour, self-pay. [Coaching is not eligible for insurance reimbursement.]
Getting started
Reach out by email to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.
Complete intake paperwork before your first appointment.
Attend your sessions in person at our Philadelphia or Montco office / via telehealth.

What happens after
An evaluation is a starting point, not a finish line. If you'd like continued support, ADHD coaching is available after your evaluation at $200 per one-hour session.
Coaching builds on what we learn during your evaluation. Together, we'll turn your results into systems that work for your brain, whether that's managing deadlines, building routines, reducing overwhelm, or staying on top of daily responsibilities. Sessions are focused, practical, and tailored to your goals.
Depending on your results, other next steps might include therapy, school or workplace accommodations, or a referral for medication evaluation. If you're interested in ongoing therapy, our clinicians can support you here at Wissahickon Valley Counseling.
Meet your evaluator
All ADHD evaluations and coaching are provided by Andi Snyder, MA, LCSW, ADHD-CCSP.
Andi holds a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and is a Certified ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). She has pursued advanced training specific to ADHD through the Chicago Institute, bringing specialized knowledge to every stage of the process, from evaluation to practical, day-to-day strategies.
Andi's understanding of ADHD goes beyond her professional training. As a parent of two children with ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence, she has navigated the school system firsthand, from advocating for accommodations to figuring out what support actually helps. She knows ADHD is far more complex than "they fidget too much" or "I just can't focus," and she brings that depth to every evaluation.
Her approach is warm and open, pairing clinical expertise with genuine compassion. Whether you're seeking answers for yourself or your child, you'll be met with curiosity, not judgment.
