Causha A. Spellman-Timmons, LSW (they/them)

LSW Licensed Social Worker

Causha is a Licensed Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience in lifespan development, honoring both the wisdom of Elders and the becoming of young people. They take an affirming, relational, justice-centered approach to care, drawing on CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, and somatic and trauma-informed practices, held critically, because what gets labeled "distorted thinking" is sometimes an accurate read of an unjust world.

Causha specializes in grief and loss, religious trauma, identity exploration and affirmation, lifespan transitions, and relationships of all structures, including couples, polyamory, and nonmonogamy. They work with individuals, partners, and families ages 0-99, with particular care for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients, and ground their work in SOULcial Justice™, a framework they developed that centers healing within relationships, community, and history.
